Barristers London provides litigation services to clients. That is, the gathering of evidence, the taking of witness statements, obtaining exhibits, instructing experts, writing to the courts and parties to a case, and generally running a contentious or non-contentious case on behalf of a client.
This can include the instruction of a specialist advocate to undertake the advocacy (representation) element. The litigation role has traditionally been undertaken by solicitors, but barristers are now able to train to be litigators as well. A number of our barristers are trained and experienced litigators.
